Message from the Principal

I am Kevin Thames, and it is my privilege to be the Principal of Clay Road Baptist School. I was born and raised in Houston, and have been in Christian school education since Kindergarten. My parents made a monetary sacrifice so I could be brought up with a sure foundation that cannot be shaken. My education was based on the infallible truth of God's word.

I have since thanked my parents for making that sacrifice. Seeing the importance of my parents raising me in the truth of God's word encourages me to make sure Christian schools fulfill their duties as educators. Academic excellence with a biblical worldview will prepare our children with the knowledge and wisdom needed for the future of our country and our world.

When I started at Clay Road as the Assistant Principal I felt like I was going to be a part of something great. It has been amazing to see what God has already done just in the two years I have been here. The growing relationship between the school staff, parents, and church has been a blessing to me. I feel like I am in an environment filled with care. I have an extended family here at Clay Road Baptist School. There is no better school environment. I hope you will partner with us in raising a generation of men and women who will grow in the favor of God and man.
